the dangan ronpa fandom is weird because its focused on a japanese game

a lot of the fans are used to the tumblr/homestuck fandom mentality where everything is malleable and up to interpretation

dr is a game that thrives from the fact the characters are tropes

ex the whole chihiro business

and so you have a lot of people focusing on characters that were not necessarily meant to be one sided, but are not as open ended to the degree homestuck characters became
