also the world they live in is populated by bugs that live normally just like us
but its got a ‘law of the jungle’ kind of flair where everything is centered around the powerful bugs like spiders, mantis’s, ants, bees/wasps, ect
they’re allowed to prey on others like normal and its kind of like “oh well there goes uncle arty” since bugs usually have massive huge families and are used to being eaten (although bees often act as police, telling folks to “get a bite at the cafe” rather than a mother and her kids and ants tend to stick up for people)
